Any of them are fine But although not needed live pto is really nice when baleing . If you do not have it you had better have a fast foot to slip trans out of gear when baler is clogging up . I baled for about 20 years without live pto but it sure is nice.. also if you do not have live pto you should put in a overrunning coupler so baler, brush hog or any other pto driven equiptment does not drive the tractor when you dont want it to. cost 40-70 dollars some super m had live pto why not a 400 or 450 dont get a super mta(colector tractor) to expencive for work. 400 or 450 better and cheaper. Ta s are very nice but they do wear out(big not impossible job to fix some time costley some time not always tractor split) I have a 460 i really like also so do not limit just buy the best for the least and any of the good ole girls will work!!!!! Ps you can change a Farmall M clutch without a tractor split how is that for ease of matainance...
