I think the building you are refering to is by the old Georgia Street railroad yards which is now town houses. When I last saw it about 10 or so years ago you could still read the sign and it was still intact. IHC moved out of this location just after WW2 in about 46 0r 47 and moved their offices, parts depot and distribution center to I believe it was Calhoon Street. They sold the building you are referring to to Orgel Brothers who used it for many years for there wholesale hardeware business. The IHC motor truck offices were near the Sears building, I don't remember the street, and the motor truck sales and distribution center was on south Third Street. I havn't been to Memphis in several years so I don't know which of these locations are still standing. As far as I know the old cotton picker Memphis Works is still standing north of town. Harold H
