No Bruce, I have two of the live systems, one on a Super M and one on a Super H, and I am refering to the live hydraulics that came on the series II tractors. The only similarities with the lift all is that they both have a one way valve built in, so they operate similarly unless you add the extra valve like I mentioned in the 1st post. I have also installed a saginaw hitch on both of these tractors. Ron, I checked and the outlets on the back left corner of the reservoir (under the gas tank, just in front of the gearshifter) are set up for standard 1/2" lines. Most pressure lines from the pump go straight into the reservoir through an el, not a tee. If I understand your description right, and you hooked up to a tee on the pressure inlet, then you are depending on the outlet ports being blocked so that when you activate the control rod, back pressure from the blocked outlet ports build up and puts the inlet under pressure to raise your hitch. (Remember, the pressure side only gets under pressure when it's pushing against a load, normally the pressure side has little to no pressure on it. Otherwise your engine would be under stress all the time.) This will sort of work, but will loose the ability to hold a load in position part way up. Normal operation of the one way valve is to pull the handle all the way out to lift, 1/2 way in to hold position, all the way back in to allow it to drop back down.
