Oil change is very easy on the Farmall A.
The tractor takes about 5 Qts of oil. Drain the oil from the pan. Remove the oil filter cannister dome by removing the bolt that goes through it. Replace the filter element and rubber o ring that is seated in the groove under the filter cannister dome. You may need a awl or pick to remove it. Replace the oilpan plug and add 5 Qts of fresh oil through the oil fill opening on top of the tractor. While tractor is on level ground open the top petcock on the side of the oil pan and let excess oil drain out. You can also replace the air filter oil in the cup under the airfilter cannister.Hope this helps.
