Elkhorn Denny, it is your coil that is the problem. I work in a service garage and autos that come in with no spark and hot will start almost instantly when we pour cold water over the coils, this is the first test we use and then we know we are diagnosing coils, we use scantool and testers from that point. You could try the cold water on the coil treatment..your coil is likely junk anyway and if the C starts you know for sure you need a new one. Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
