You can buy assembly lube at your auto parts store. I know people who use STP - the THICK stuff - on bearings & cam, and dip the pistons in 30 wt to oil the rings before installing. Only use motor oil if you plan on starting it soon after assembly. If you plan on storing it for a while don't use oil because it will run off and you will start it with dry cylinders.
