On the outset that sounds reasonable. I would check to see if he installed new sleeves, crank and rod bearings. New manifold costs around $140. Find out what all was done with the head rebuild. If it has ground or new valves, seats, new guides, new springs, that would have cost him roughly $200-250. New front tires and tubes would cost around $100. Probably has $50 plus in the mag rebuild.
