When I was growing up, a neighbor across the hill from us did all his baling with a S/C, govener opened up every time the plunger went back but he got the job done. If yours is a straight C then it would probably be purtnear too much. We did all our baling for many years with a S/H that I now have and it was no problem other than lack of live power. Later on Dad bought a 400 and IMHO there never was a finer "Baling tractor" made. It's got every thing you need including height, for excelent visibility and up away from the dust.
