The castings on the IH 444 and 354 are essentially the same as those on the Mahindra. Some of the early Mahindra models imported here still looked like the B274 and B414. Mahindra approached many CIH and former IH dealers when establishing their dealer network. Many Mahindra dealers were/are IH/CIH/CNH dealers and routinely order Mahindra parts for their customers with old IHs of those designs. I have been told by more than one dealer that the Mahindra part is often about 1/3 the price of the IH part. They have been selling in the U.S for at least 7 to 10 years.
