I plowed 14 acres with my H and an Oliver 2-14 in. trailer plow last fall. I pulled this plow out of the weeds where it had been sitting for 20+ years and put new points on it and greased everything up. Went up to the gas station and a guy was just getting rid of some front tractor tires to put new ones on and he gave us his old ones for the plow. The plow had a new hyd. cylinder that was covered up and I bought a set of universal plow points for it for cheap at my local farm store. Needless to say, after I got done plowing that field, I am looking for more to plow. It was some of the best fun I've ever had. Like the others have said, a plow may look like junk but theres not too much that can go wrong with them. Any old tires will work, so thats no problem, and you can get 'universal' plow points for cheap that have several different holes drilled to fit most any plow. The only real expensive thing that can go bad is the hydraulic cylinder or moldboards. Even the older trip plows that don't use hydraulics to raise and lower work just fine. Just had to share my experience, Good luck. RC

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
