Farmall C Timing Gear

Purchased a non running C. The rotor was not turning (no spark). When I got in to it I found a bad Govenor drive gear. Here is the question - The timing gear has one tooth that is chipped (not broken off just chipped)do you all think I can get away without replacing the timing gear??

It would sure make the fix much easier. I will only use the C for parades and to show, no work.

Any thoughts about if this would be a job for a JB Weld type of product.
