I have a Farmall Super A and 130. From CaseIH they use the same mufler. I just replaced mufler on Super A after ten years. 130 is another matter, muflers will only last 3-4 years at most. Within one month of installing a new mufler, the finish is off about half way up large section of mufler, and within one year centre tube is burned loose. About 4 months ago I put a 30" straight pipe on 130 tractor. The tractor used to have a bit of blow by, I don't see that anymore. I have seen other tractors with C-123 engine, with finish off centre section of mufler. Is that mufler just too restrictive for the C-123? I had flip up rain caps on both tractors, 130 burned that up too. Your thoughts please.
