IF you have a hydro, you can NOT pull it to start it. IF you have a hydro you will have a lever with a gate that has a slot that goes forward, one that goes backward (not as long as the forward one) and the short slot to move the lever left or right to get to the forward or reverse slot. Hydro tractors have a high and a low, don't remember which way the lever is for which one, but you have to be stopped to shift the high low lever if you have a hydro. Hydro tractors had a lot smaller clutch pedal than the gear shift tractors also, this is for emergency stops or for moving just a little bit at a time. Also, if it is a hydro it will say hydro somewhere on the tin work. If you have a gear shift tractor the right lever will have 5 gears and one reverse. The left lever could be either a TA or a shuttle. If it is a shuttle then you need to stop to shift that. Steven
