Successful surgery!!!

Last summer while baling hay the seasonal disconnect clutch went out on my SMTA. Apparently a common problem with these. HGad put off putting a new solid coupling in as I anticipated a big job. Made some split stands mostly from an old IH corn cultivator parts and used 2 5/8 by about 6 inch bolts in top holes as studs when I split tractor. Was able to roll it apart but keep it pretty well lined up that way. AToughest part was getting down to the actual split but went well after that. Still gotta put it back together after I dump in some kerosine to clean transmission and torque amplifier. Nasty looking oil came out, sort of rusty and foamy looking. Anyway glad to have the split part done. Now there is the torque amplifier I will have to overhaul sometime...
