I put all new bearings, seals and bushings in my Super A box a couple years ago for about $140. If you start buying gears and shafts for it, that gets expensive quick. If you have access to a machine shop, they should be able to work some miracles for you for a better price than buying new....and do it in such a way that any "modifications" will be hidden away inside the gearbox.
