My Dad had a 300 Utility, a 1956 model. It Served
on our farm for many years and was a very good Tractor. I think it had about 38 or 39 horsepower.
It had IH's Quick Hitch with down pressure in the
Hydrolic. If you got stuck all you had to do was put a block of wood under the drawbar to raise the
rear wheels, shove some rails under them, raise the drawbar and drive away. I remember it to be a
very versitile and useful machine on our Ontario
Farm. Some of these Tractors also had IH Torque
Amplifiers on them. Hope this helps.
