No one has said anything about tire ware. With the price of tires today it might cost you more in the long run than to have it hauled.

Local farm tire dealer once told me that when the farmers all drove there tractors to Washington DC in protest, that they turned the rears around backwards so they wouldn't wear so bad.

Use to see tractors being towed behind pickups using a dolly under the frontend. Very similar to the dollys used behind large motor homes to tow small cars.
