Boondock, Here's my opinion, if the H is tight, it would be very inexpensive to drive it home...Here's a plan: Remove the 8 bolts that hold the governor cover in place and back the high speed bolt out to let your old H get up to speed. Instead of going 16 mph, turn her up and get her going about 20-22mph. My M will do that no problem and it sounds really good doing it. If the motor is in good shape, it won't hurt it in the least. Once we drove an old JD Combine home.....the Hydrostatic tranny would disengage on the downhills and the combine would have to be stopped for the tranny to start working again. That was a fun day and I think any experience moving a tractor anywhere does a body good. Take you 10 jugs of gas, a picnic lunch... Man I would love to do it. Good luck, Jared Jeffries
