If I were contemplating what you want to do I would look for a D-188 used in 504 or the 239 used in 544 or Continental from the 350. They should all bolt up. I don't know if that 239 is the same 239 used in the British built IH tractors. If it is there are all kinds of these engines in Canada. Those British tractors with cabs tended to catch fire a lot.
