use the motor out of a 350 gas and if you build it right you can have very close to 60 hp,and no rear end problem,s--i would redo the bull gear berring,s to safe and outer axel ones to. have 2 H,s out there with 350 motor,s and pull them all the way up to 6500 open class,been doing that with one for about ten year,s and no problem,s we even turned the rpm,s up to 2200--did rebalance the motor.good luck.
