We were coming up to a road crossing one day on the train. This one guy who was in too much of a hurry to stop, was coming up the road. He was racing us to the crossing. He had a trailer heaped up with that masonite siding. (real heavy and real slippery) He either found some brains or lost his nerve, because he slammed on the brakes to stop just clear of the crossing. All this siding came off the front of the trailer and wedged behind the rear wheels of his truck. Acted just like a wheel chock. He slammed the truck in reverse and smoked his tires on that spendy stuff trying to back up just a little more. wouldn't move so he bailed out just as we went screaming by. We didn't hit him, that was good, but now he has to unload and reload all that heavy stuff and some of it the ends were ruined. (what a day) sod
