If Your having "Sensations" that means your getting "Up There" in the range of the Pucker Factor.... Seat-of-the-Pants is a good indicator that Your probably on as steep of a hill as You should be on... If You are sliding around or off the seat I'd say it's too steep. Conditions can change and hills/slopes you've made before become impossible to climb.... mud, dew, frost, heavier load, wet leaves....can all cause loss of traction and send You & Your tractor out of control sliding towards the bottom of the hill. I slid a 6000# Farmall M 200 ft. down a hill with half a load of oats in the wagon behind Me with the left rear wheel locked sliding on loose dry straw right out of the combine.... I was about 8 at the time....That was 40 yrs ago... I learned something that day!
