I was using the front hooks on my brand new truck to pull large stones out of a house foundation. Once out, I'd lift them up on an engine hoist, turn the truck around and back under it. For the first one, I realized I'd get the stones deeper in the bed if I removed the tailgate. Well, being in a hurry, I tossed the gate in the grass and loaded the first stone. I then needed to turn around to pull the next one out and ... yes, proceeded to run over the tailgate.
