Hey everyone. There's a 1949 Cub coming up at a local farm auction that sells with a disc, cultivator, and 1 btm plow. The auction listing says the Cub is "completely restored," but doesn't say anything else about the tractor or the condition of the implements. I won't be able to preview anthing until the day of the sale, so this is all I have to go on. I don't have any experience with Cubs and was wondering what general advice ya'll could give me about them. I'm looking for a good all-around tractor for working 20 or so acres of row crops, hay and pasture. Also need to do the usual livestock chores of hauling/spreading manure, etc. Is the Cub the right size tractor for a smalltimer like me or do I need to be thinking more on an A or larger? If the Cub would do the job, what auction price ranges would ya'll suggest for a "completely restored" 1949 selling in the midwest? How about the implements ... what are they worth? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks in advance for your help.
