I have been painting mine with a flat black bbq grill paint from rustoleum. I wire bruch and clean as best I can, then spray the manifold. I try to do this a couple of weeks before I am ready to paint the rest of the tractor/engine. Then, I jsut paint right over the blcak with the trator paint. It burns off, and then I have a nice black manifold. So far about 4 years is the test period. Still works good.
