I'd get the L59. However, if you are trying to squeeze through tight spots, the L42 might be more the ticket. Never saw an L42 though, at that is a bit narrow for a Farmall 100. The 100 will easily handle the L59. I used an L59 for years on a 140 to mow about 4 acres. Also used it every year to mow down the garden, including the sweet corn after harvest.
