Well, hopefully I can get the short block all buttoned up this weekend. Crankshaft, rods and block are ready to go, picking them up this afternoon. Head will probably take another week. I am hoping to get everything together and get the short block put back in the tractor so all that is left is to install the head next weekend. Hey, I even figured out how to make that new CaseIH oil pressure gauge work on my H - old gauges were female with ferrule (sp?) compression fittings and the new one is a male taper thread. Through the use of several adapters and a new brake line I think I am going to get it hooked up! Weather seems decent today, kinda warm. Dad thinks he is going to be in the field next week, I laughed at him. Too cold and there is still snow on the buttes. Glad to hear you got your mag working! Cheap fixes are always fun. Steven
