Super C Shifting update

Last weekend posted I could"t shift and thank all who replied. Pulled deck only broke 2 bolts off and found 1/16" metal pc. holding reverse idler from engaging. Finally got it out today after watching it go farther down in gear case from my earlier efforts. Metal peice is so light it had to come from shifter rail although I can"t see where. Am happy I don;t have to split tractor and heading to IH dealer to see parts picture. Also want to get high grade bolts to put deck back on so 50 years from now I won't have same trouble. Heck,I would only be 95 years young.
