Trashed my old Lynchburg two way horse drawn walking plow the other day. It was a vey nice plow and had lots of new parts on it( shoe and share). I hooked it up to the back of my F-12 with a chain looped so it was about 2 feet from the draw bar. I didn't have the right clevis with me to hook it up so I figured the chain would be fine. Started along on the 5th pass and the plow nose dived into blue clay and the girl driving the F-12 didn't stop quick enough, Ripped the frog and moldboard right off it and broke the casting on the main frame. Needles to say I was just sick about it! If I would have had it hooked up right it would have been fine. Another time I left a full gallon can of spar varnish( the good expensive stuff) sitting out in the barn lot where I had been revarnishing my wood boat, and the grass grew up around it hiding it pretty good.I forgot to put that stuff away. About a month later I was tooling along on my steel wheeled 10-20 and hit that can of varnish on the side, opened it up good with a cleat, and it flipped up and sprayed varnish everywhere including on me and some on my nice new paint on the 10-20. As soon as I smelled varnish I knew what I hit!
