H and M Magneto Drive Gear

Here's quick question,

are the magneto drive gears the same for a Farmall M and a Farmall H? I've got an M with live hydraulic pump that is driven off the mag gear. If I were to take it off, could I put a drive gear housing from an H farmall in there? I think I might want to remove the hydraulic pump and replace it with the stock piece. Thanks for any help in advance. Anyone interested in a live hydraulic pump for an M??
