My friend's neighbor is selling his old Cub. I'm not sure what year it is but I think the serial# is 122207 or maybe one more 2 in there. The thing is in rough shape with rust all over and a hole cut in the hood so a 12Volt altinator will fit. It has sheared off bolts at the back of the gas tank and a after market funky seat. The thing has'nt been started in several years (3-5). The PTO spins freely(should it do that?) and the gear box feels solid and tight. It has hydros and comes with an original dozer blade up front. How easy is it to get parts and from who? I am pretty handy and have semi restored a 1971 Nova but am a total amatuer in the tractor scene. The Cub will need a lot of work. He possibly wants 500.00 Do you think its worth it? Should I try to find one in better shape? Thanks PaulO
