Paul here is a photo of a valve I added to Dad's 53? Super H about 6 years ago, pipe the original single hydraulic power outlet into the oil inlet on the valve, return through the valve to a Tee fitting on the drain plug, the power up and power down hoses go to the quick couplers at the rear of the tractor, provide hydraulic power up and down for two way cylinders. The original control lever has to be tied back when using the 2 way valve.
