It'll get hot. It's a fair job, but the average guy can do the rebuild. the kit is fairly spendy. $90 for a pile of o-rings and a few gaskets. Lay it on your bench upside down, start to take it apart. Take a couple hours to do it, so you remember everything, and lay everything on the bench right in line as you remove them. It's not a real tough job, but it takes concentration, and use plenty of hyd. oil when reassembling, and clean, clean, clean....I&T tech manual has a nice blowup of the exploded unit
