Something weird is going on! I saw the post with the name Lewis Smith and a question about a Farmall 100 and I began to wonder had I posted a question without knowing it. It is strange but my name is also Lewis Smith and I just recently completely putting my 1956 100 back together. In answer to your question, the linkage from the carbeurator attaches to a lever near the front of the engine that is attached to the governor. This linkage is located just slightly underneath the fan pulley assembly. By the way, if your wife and kids are named the same as mine, I will start to get really worried.
