Steven@nd, We've put in 3 hours in field last Thurs. Son knifed in 60 ac. of AA with our 9230 and 17 knife toolbar. This was on sand, black ground was several days off and Friday we got 1.6" of rain so it's gonna be a while. Last year started putting on AA on Mar 26, and started planting corn on Apri 10th. When it does dry up around here it's gonna be a mad rush. BTW, Friday morning before the rains, almost got stuck on a grass lane with 4wd pickup. Do you have a lot of trouble with people stealing AA to make meth? It's a real problem around here. We never leave tanks in the field overnight. Also, local coop has started putting wire ties thru vale handles. Won't stop them but at least you know if you've been ripped off. Had one case not far away where they caught the guy, was the fertilizer dealer himself. Be safe, that AA is dangerous stuff boog

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
