Proceeded to start up the culti vision A today. Poured some gas down the cylinders. She started right up, then died. No problem.... Went to start it again... and nothing.... won't seem to turn over... hummmm.... thouht I'd try turning the motor over by rotating the PTO, couldn't do it. So... thought to my self....better take the inspection plate off and see if I could pry on the ring gear teeth to get her to turn. Well I should have known.... I took off the plate and sure enough... there was a mouse nest there grrrr. I still wasn't sure why it wouldn't turn over, so I proceeded to take the starter off, and there it was. The mouse crap had wound up in all the gears. Took me half an hour to clean it up, then she turned over much more freely and started right up. The motor isn't running very well yet, I had to adjust the choke alot depending on the throttle position to keep her running. I will be looking in the achives for advice. Still have to take her off the blocks, fill the crank case oil. Also have to freaking redo the pump for the loader's hydraulics...grrrrrrr Anyway.. thought you all would like to hear an update. Thanks. Brian.
