The fuel pump on these is very touchy, any contamination will cause simtoms like this. Ask the fuel shop what the old pump looked like, dirt in fuel, water, or just tired. These pumps are very touchy to work on. I had to put an expensive fuel filter setup on one and powerwash out the tank because he had contaminated fuel. Where did you get the pump worked on, I only recomend certified Bosch shops for this particular fuel pump, very expensive but good.
