You might wanna check your wires and look for some corrosion, your cap might also have a crack that is letting the spark ground out before reaching the plug. You might also check your rotor bug for corrosion and reset your points. It's hard to tell, I'm by no means a Magneto expert. I do know this.....6 acres is a lot to mow by hand so good luck....Oh wait....one more thing: make sure your switch isn't bad, you could even disconnect the kill switch wire on the side of the mag to see if that works. Also, check for spark on each plug...not just one. Good luck, let me know if you need anything else Jared Jeffries
