Hi Mitch,
I made my splitting stands out of 3/8 X 4" flat iron and a 1/4"x4"x4" tube. I also got a tube that fits snug inside the big tube, but I can still slide it in and out so it fits on any tractor.

For the wheels, I put a couple old rubber cultivator wheels on the end of two pieces of 1" ready rod. Works good. I can even roll it on gravel if I have to split one outside!

To hold up the back of the tractors I made a frame and put two bottle jacks under the tractor. One under the TA and one under the drawbar.
