A chain hoist would be your cheapest aid, if you are in a building it can be hung from a STRONG beam or outside a good tree limb, but for a little more you could have a engine hoise the would allow you to move stuff around. Sounds like a project, but will be worth it when you are done, especially when you explain to someone all that you did. I'd say at the least you'll need a couple good jacks, a chain hoist(or electric hoist), engine hoist, and a good pair of STEEL TOE boots. I find myself using them all the time to keep stuff from setting right on the ground if I gotta set something down, though that ain't the brightest idea I know, and after you notice a couple scuffs on the toes of the boots, you'll be happy you had them on...but be careful.
