I-4 and I-6 whats different from W-4 and W-6

I have inherited a I-4 and an I-6, I don't know how old, but both are around 10,000 range of S/N

Whats the difference between the Is and the Ws?

I heard that the 4 uses the same engine, trans, etc as the H and the 6 the same as the M. Is this the case?
