Another possibility is that you have a carburetor or fuel supply problem. Be sure your gasoline is not stale. Remove the drain from the bottom of the carburetor and see if a fairly good stream runs out when you open the fuel valve. I think you have an adjustable main jet, which may be screwed in too far. If everything else, including the ignition system, checks out okay, then clean the carburetor.
