Finish mower for M

Although Im a retired farmed,Ive never had any reason to think of to use a finish mower.We always plowed up a feild or cut it for hay,or something to never need a finish mower.So,my question is,how big of a finish mower can my ole M handle?What sizes do they come in anyways?
