Check ihcubcadet.com they have a complete IH Cub Cadet serial number list on their main page. Numbers were put in different places on the various models. The site explains it all. There's a Cub Cadet book coming out this fall by Ken Updike. Promises to be very interesting! Ken put A LOT of research & hard work into the book. Also on the web site there should be a link to an identification web site made by Johnaton Lucky that shows pictures of all the different IH Cub Cadet models in case Your not sure what model Your's is.
