Rough running 560

This spring our 560D would rev up on its own for a few seconds the return to set speed. Now it's doing it all the time.If you let it go it will return and run fine.But if you throttle back,it will run rough for about a minute then straighten out.This problem is getting worse as the summer goes on.Also it doesn't smoke at all while it takes it's fit.
