This last weekend was the first weekend of our county fair here in Tucson, our local tractor club puts on A tractor show, vintage equipment show and pulls on 2 weekends in a row for the fair. I brought out my 48 H for the second year in a row. Last year I had people giving me looks of simpathy it was close to the ugliest tractor there, the engine was smoking and the tires had chunks missing out of the side walls, that was 2 weeks after I bought the tractor. This year I have many people coming up and asking if I bought a "new " tractor and I love to tell them it is the same tractor as last year, they all say "No way!", Makes me really feel great! The H was out pulled by a few tractors but they were all tractors that bend the rules for modifications, or are JD A's or farmall m's that have been stripped down to get the weight down to under 4500 lbs. I felt that the old H held up her end of the game just fine. Now if I can just figure out how to get her under 3500 lbs. then I could play the game like some of the others.....Ha Ha I think not!
