Front Wheel Bearings size problem on my MD

I needed a inner front bearing so I went to local C-IH dealer and all he had was a kit with both bearings, seal, and gasket. When I tore into the front axle I discovered the new bearings were to small! On the kit box it said it was for M,MD,SuperM,SuperMD, H & SuperH ? In my experence usually things are smaller for H's. Does anyone know if an H & M wheel bearings are the same or is this an unusual mess up from C-IH ? I've got another M but I didn't want to mess with it yesterday to see the bearing size on it, it's very hot in NC.
