This Sounds Expensive

My '45 Farmall H is making an expensive sounding noise. It is a solid snapping noise made while underway in any gear. I was thinking it was coming from the front bolster area, but I fear it could be coming from under the deckplate, only I don't feel it in the seat of my pants as I drive, I hear it and it sounds like it comes from up front. The wheel bearings are good, I replaced them last year. This is pretty limited and lame information, but any assistance on where to go from here to diagnose this problem would be appreciated.
