Kathleen,you are the happy owner of a 1940 Farmall"A".If it runs on gas it has 16.8 hp at the belt pulley,and 12 hp at the drawbar.That year they made 34,756 tractors.They are a real pleasure to drive and work with,and parts are plentyful.Do you and your GENEROUS husband intend on restoring it for show or just useing it for chores and fun?? Will!!
