Sorry for part of the confusion. First of all, I do have a 1951 C. The serial number is 79848. So there is no water pump. I did let the coolant level drop about 2" and it is staying there and seems to be working fine. The reason I haven't noticed this before, was until I fixed the radiator leak and the crack in the block, I was continually adding coolant, when I got it fixed I assumed that the level would stay up to the overflow level. I have learned something valuable and hope others have learned as well. I really do appreciate all the help and info! Farmall guys, as well as other tractor guys are the "greatest"!
